Planes, Trains, and Automobiles
I’ve been working a lot on my pictures from the Air Force Museum, including some that I took on a visit in 1975, and I’ve included a few of my favorites here. In many cases I’ve had to do a fair amount of work on the pictures, both to clear out obstructions, etc, and in the case of the older pictures, repairing fading and dirt on the slides after I scanned them.
Of course, I also have airplane pictures from the New England Air Museum.
For my complete library of aircraft pictures, look here.
I’ve taken a few railroad pictures lately, too, of the local railroads. And Last fall, I did a couple of pictures that were entered in Model Railroader magazine’s photo contest (they didn’t win, though). I’ve also been collecting some material on the C&O’s articulated hopper car.
Ever since I met Russ and Frank at the COHS conference, they have inspired me to create some really twisted train pictures. You can see the result on my Pixel Magic page.
On Sept. 10, 2001 my friend Glenn and I visited the Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg Museum in Auburn, Indiana. Here are some of the pictures from that trip.
Finally, I’ve got a few car pictures as well.
